LATEST NEWS AND UPDATES | Exciting new changes to our affiliate program | 2012-03-16 15:45:19 | At cramit.in, we have always been committed to offering our affiliates the best possible compensation for all the valuable traffic that they drive towards us. In this regard, we have had many suggestions from our users to implement some kind of a pay-per-sale program. We haven't been too keen to do this until now due to the amount of fraud that such a compensation system generates which eventually ends up diluting the payouts that we can disburse to our affiliates.
We are pleased to announce that after a lot of brainstorming, we have finally come up with a solution to implement such a program and at the same time, eliminate most of the fraudulent transactions that tend to plague such reward systems. Before we actually tell you the details of this awesome program, you should know that we are implementing this from the 1st of April and this will replace the pay-per-download program that is currently offered to our affiliates and webmasters.
Now, to the juicy details ...
- Starting from the 1st of April, all members of our affiliate program will receive a MASSIVE 50% COMMISSION on all sales that they refer AND ADDITIONAL 50% COMMISSIONS for all renewal purchases made by their referred users.
- Commission payments shall be disbursed on a monthly basis throughout the duration of the sale made, for sales of memberships that are shorter than 6 months. For longer membership sales, the commissions shall be disbursed in 6 months from the date of the sale. To better explain this, here is a chart explaining how much will be paid out to you monthly after a sale has been made

- All members of our webmaster program will receive a MASSIVE 5% COMMISSION on all sales that are referred to from their website AND ADDITIONAL 5% COMMISSIONS for all renewal purchases made by their referred users. This will also be paid out in a similar manner as the affiliate program.
This type of payout system will generate a lot of passive income for our affiliates as future commissions will not be dependent on continued promotion of your files. You will earn commissions even if none of your files have any downloads, because we shall pay you for ALL SUBSCRIPTION RENEWALS MADE BY YOUR REFERRALS.
This program will be replacing our $1,000 promotion and the pay-per-download program and we feel that it will reward you much more handsomely than the previous compensation schemes combined. |
| Wupload added to Multi-Host Downloads. | 2011-09-28 22:06:52 | Premium users can now fetch files from Wupload using their multi-host credits.
This brings up the total number of file hosts supported by Multi-Host Downloads to 8 ~ Rapidshare, Megaupload, Hotfile, Fileserve, Depositfiles, 2Shared, Filesonic and Wupload. |
| Update on changes implemented in the past few days | 2011-05-15 04:26:22 | The $1,000 Give Away: As most regular users might be aware, we have made the $1,000 promotion a regular thing now. This means that each and every user has the chance to win prizes of upto $500 each month. Click here to check your current standing.
Changes to the File Manager: We have revamped the My Files page and made it a lot more clutter free. This should make everything appear a lot more organized and less overwhelming. All file and folder information/functions are now available by clicking on the DETAILS icon next to the corresponding file or folder. This change also frees up a lot of screen area for us to implement new features in the near future.
More sorting options for your files: You will now be able to sort your files based on any of the following criteria - File name, File Size, Number of downloads, Upload date and Last download date. This should make file management a lot more easier and also enable affiliates to keep track of which files are popular and which aren't.
Report a bug: We realize that adding more features creates the potential for more things going wrong. Hence we have added a 'Report a Bug' button on every page of the website. Now, whenever you have a problem, however small it is, you can report it to us immediately using this button. The report a bug box is completely non-intrusive, ie. it won't interrupt anything that you are doing as all bug submissions will automatically take place in a new tab/window. |
| Folder support for FTP uploads | 2011-05-11 21:00:35 | | We have now added folder support for files uploaded using the FTP protocol. So, now you can upload entire nested folders and the files from within them will be added to your cramit.in account. |

| Automated video screencaps | 2011-03-16 15:03:45 | From now onwards, whenever you upload a video to cramit.in, our systems will automatically create screencaps at intervals of 1, 2, 3 and 4 minutes so that users can check the quality of the video before downloading. You will be able to view these screencaps in the download page, while downloading any video.
Our system currently supports the following video formats - AVI, DIVX, MP4, MKV, MPG, MPEG, VOB, WMV, ASF, MOV, 3GP and FLV. If you would like any other formats to be added, please email them to us at ideas[at]cramit.in.
The initial screen-capping run will take a while as there are tens of thousands of videos to be processed. After 2-3 days, screencaps should be created within minutes of videos being uploaded.
